I heard an interesting statistic the other day: nearly 1.5 million North Carolinians will travel 50 miles or more this Labor Day weekend. Labor Day weekend has always seen heavy traffic and with the lower price of gas this year it's no surprise that the number of travelers is projected to hit a 7 year high.
